Will Volunteer Speedway be a FasTrak sanctioned track in 2006? We hate to think about towing right past one of the finest Dirt Tracks in East Tennessee just to run sanctioned Crate Engine races ... but FasTrak's points fund makes it an impossible deal to ignore for budget racers.

why would you tow right by. they still race supers late models , so stop in and race. It's like this, flipper: The FasTrak Series has a 1/4 Million Dollar points fund for those people who compete for the National FasTrak Championship at the end of the year. You qualify [get invited] into that event via points earned thru the FasTraK Touring Series or your local FasTraK sanctioned Crate Engine Racing Series. Ergo, what do The Gap Supers have to do me stopping there to race on my way to a Sanctioned Crate Engine event? If the Gap refuses to become a FasTrak sanctioned facility, they will lose a certain number of racecars. It's just that simple.

Sorry misunderstood post. That is alot of money on the line. With 3 Fastrack races on the schedule you would think he would be sanctioned. 2 of them $5,000 races.
Good Luck
