CLARKSVILLE, TN – Mastersbilt Race Cars of Crothersville, IN and WMF Racing Products of Guntersville, AL have teamed up with the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series to present special post-season awards. Mastersbilt will award a chassis to a top ten driver, and WMF Racing Products will equip the chassis with various suspension components.
“We’re happy to be a part of the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series,” Keith Masters of Mastersbilt Race Cars said. “I really think Crate Late Model racing is strong, and getting stronger. The StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series is working to save the sport, especially on the local level, and tracks across the country need to take a look at it.”
Current StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series point leader David Gentry of Lewisburg, TN has driven a Mastersbilt Chassis to seven wins this season in series competition. Gentry will be looking for his eighth win of the season at the next StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series event on September 23 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL, where he already has two wins this season.
Mastersbilt Race Cars will also participate in the 2006 StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series Chassis Manufacturers Challenge.
WMF Racing Products produces suspension components for Mastersbilt Race Cars, and are looking forward to create new awareness of their products through the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series.
“The economical nature of the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series is opening up dirt late model racing to a new group racers,” Chad Wright of WMF Racing Products said. “Since they run a lot of the their races in our area, we can work closely with our customers, which helps us improve our products.”
WMF Racing Products will also be sponsoring the 2005 StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Championship Runner-Up Jeff Fields of Aragon, GA. Fields is currently fourth in the StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series National Touring point standings.
The Mastersbilt/WMF Racing Products Awards will be handed out at the 2006 StormPay.com Dirt Late Model Series Awards Banquet on December 13 in Tampa, FL
